Craft Moves Chart

In Writing Workshop, the focus has been on using craft moves in our writing just like our mentor author uses in his book. During one Writing Workshop session, we studied the craft moves together and made the chart to show what moves we noticed in the mentor text. After the lesson the chart was hung on the wall and students can use it to remind themselves of what the craft moves are, and how to use them. It is a handy reference to students so that they can be independent in their writing work.
